Position available for Clinical Nurse Specialist

Children’s Friend, Inc. in Worcester, MA, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist for The Ellsworth Child and Family Counseling Center, 20 Cedar St. in Worcester. The Ellsworth Center is a busy outpatient mental health clinic that serves 300 or more individuals weekly. The position is part-time, up to 16 hours per week, and will begin in late July. The responsibilities of the position will be to prescribe and monitor psychopharmacological medicines for children and adolescents with a broad range of mental, emotional and behavioral diagnoses. The successful candidate must have all necessary credentials and have experience with this patient population. The RNCS will be supervised by the Clinic’s Medical Director, who is a psychiatrist. Children’s Friend is the oldest child and family service agency in central Massachusetts, and is known both for the quality of its mental health and child welfare services, and the collegial work environment for its staff.
